Themis

A mother of five, ethnologist and certified hypnotherapist, Themis is a Libra who delights and excels in working well with varied groups. Part Cherokee, Themis lives with her husband of many years in a beutiful wood house near Murphy, NC. Though prone to post-polio syndrome, Themis nevertheless "gets around" a circle well, and continues to participate in Coven activities as often as she is physically able. Themis originally contacted us to study Coven Oldenwilde as an example of an "unusual" group for her Bachelor's ethnography thesis. Lady Passion was originally quite skeptical about Themis's motives as well as "being studied", but Themis patiently reassured her throughout the months-long process. When Themis had finished her well-written and honest study of Coven Oldenwilde, we were pleased to attend when she presented it to the Anthropology Department at WNC University. We were doubly pleased when she followed this by requesting to become a student!

Themis displayed a marked love of hypnosis during a Past Life Regression class Lady Passion taught. Themis decided to pursue this avenue as a career, and attended a week-long training session to become officially certified as a hypnotherapist. She was Initiated to the First Degree on November 29, 1997. She currently helps clients break habits and incorporate Past Lives in the privacy of her home. Themis plans to return to WNC University and get her Master's degree in Counseling.
