Asheville's 11th Annual
Free Public Witch Ritual


Halloween, Monday October 31st, 8 - 10 pm
French Broad River Park in West Asheville

Circle with Southeast Pagans, Witches, and our local Hispanic community at Coven Oldenwilde's popular, powerful, family-friendly religious rite!

This year's theme: Bones & Roses (Huesos y Rosas), a "Day of the Dead" ("Dia de los Muertos") rite at night

Featuring: Traditional sugar skulls, paper ancestor altars, adorned gravesites, group "funeral" procession, free divinations, Spiral dancing, and much more. Participants will be able to honor their beloved dead, including those who have crossed over in the previous year.

Suggested costume colors: Black, red, or white

Diviners: Please bring your tools & read for attendees!

Booksigning: After the Rite, Lady Passion & *Diuvei will sell and sign copies of their new Craft book The Goodly Spellbook: Olde Spells for Modern Problems.

Make Samhain a four-day holiday!
Come to Asheville Friday, Oct. 28, and wear your Samhain costume to the
Booksigning Event at Malaprop's Bookstore/Café in downtown Asheville at 7 PM.
Stay in town through the weekend for Monday's Samhain Rite.
A very affordable, enjoyable, and clean place to stay
is Bon Paul & Sharky's Hostel in West Asheville (just a few blocks from our Covenstead).
We also highly recommend you take some time to
enjoy the outdoor hot tubs at Shoji Retreat.)
