- Biography:
- Born in San Luis Obispo, California, to Ralph C. and Alice E. Rasmussen, and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, residing mostly in Cupertino and Berkeley. Moved to Asheville, North Carolina, 1994. Handfasted to Dixie Deerman. Daughter, Cheyanne Deerman.
- Education:
- Princeton University, Class of 1980, majored in music (studied Renaissance musicology and worked on the seminal Josquin Project, first computer database of music), member of Terrace Club.
- After college, pursued independent study of the quadrivium and studied metaphysics under Kythera Ann in San Jose, Calif., then Gardnerian Wicca in Covens Tobar Bridh, Triskell, and Trismegiston in Berkeley, obtaining my Third Degree (equivalent to seminary graduation/certification) a couple of years before co-founding Coven Oldenwilde in Asheville, 1994.
